Nancy is the little sister, the cheeky one and a minx. She's the organiser, arranger, sorter-outer and hunter-gatherer of nice dresses which often meet with Rose's exacting standards.

She is fond of a little luxury and a chocolate bar.

She's also a singing teacher and runs two community choirs in Malvern.

The Poppy Sisters are two great sisters from Worcester who bring a very unique something to their performance. With their glamorous outfits and gorgeous blended vocals, a mischievous sense of humour is never very far away and the audience is treated to some special entertainment.

"They're so much more than just singers - they're the whole package.

They bring the residents to life who don't stop talking about them!"

The girls are extremely popular as chosen entertainers to care, residential and nursing homes throughout Worcestershire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Warwickshire. They really come into their own in these situations, listening to what type of music residents would love and providing just that - guaranteeing a sing-a-long, a little dancing and movement or just allowing residents to relax and soak up the atmosphere, perhaps transporting them back with their memories. They never forget their manners and always personally thank each member of the audience afterwards - after all, it's a nice opportunity for a natter and maybe a hug!

Rose is the demure, sensible one, the voice of reason when Nancy gets a little giddy. Completely unflappable, she is the maker of headresses and some outfits with a perfect eye for detail and ear for the right sound.

She admits to knowing all the words to some incredibly old songs.

She's also a teacher and exhibited wildlife artist.

She likes a little luxury and can't say no to a chocolate biscuit.

They both enjoy a sneaky post-performance Turkish Delight bar.
