Back with a BANG!

We really needed that two-week break! Nancy sailed the high seas, sipping nice fruity drinks (and ended up on stage leading a choir, as you do) and Rose fought with a power drill building her kitchen.

But we're back and our first gig was for the gorgeous Orchard House near Hereford who win the prize for the most fun, most lively audiences we've had! What an absolute party and such a lovely warm welcome from everyone. Delighted that they've booked us for another three visits.

Looking forward to our next visit to our local Friends of the Elderly day centre too and we've signed up and made our promise to their campaign Be A Friend. Loneliness for the elderly is devastating and we see daily how day centres and friendship clubs and groups are absolutely vital to provide the support that's needed. Just a simple phone call to an elderly relative, a card, a wave or a hello over the fence can make a massive difference to an elderly person's life.

We do our little bit by singing and entertaining, but we've decided to try and spread the word out there and would urge everyone to Be A Friend too.
